    Late Late Show viewers were divided on Friday night by Una Healy and Nathan Carter’s performance of a classic Christmas song.

    It was a busy night for Patrick on the long-running RTÉ talk show, where he was joined this week by five new Dancing with the Stars contestants, My Best Friend’s Wedding’s Rupert Everett and Irish athlete Ciara Mageean.

    However, it was former Saturdays’ singer Una and Nathan’s live performance of Cliff Richard’s festive favourite Mistletoe and Wine that had everyone talking.

    The pair released the song, originally released by Cliff in 1988, to mark both the festive season and the release of Nathan’s brand new album Crazy Christmas.

    Many of those watching at home took to Twitter, now known as X, to share some of their issues with the performance.

    One person said: ‘It’s all getting (gone) very cringe. #LateLate.’

    Another added: ‘Una Healy is a decent performer but that version of Mistletoe & Wine does not suit her at all #LateLateShow.’
